Lemon Chess Pie

Mamaw Rayburn

2 cups sugar
1 tbsp. flour, rounded
1 tbsp. yellow cornmeal, rounded
¼ cup butter, softened
¼ cup lemon juice (zest if desired)
4 eggs slightly beaten

Mix. Bake 10 min. at 400°, then at 325° for 30 to 35 min., until not soft in center.
